PocketMD was founded in 2001 with the goal of mobilizing the Veterans Health Administration’s (VHA) CPRS/VistA system. Since that time, the company has:

• developed seamless, bi-directional integration into CPRS;
• constructed a complex, yet highly-intuitive, results handling flow (including complete reports and notes) that supports the full continuum of care, from inpatient to outpatient, as well as home health;
• enabled full write-back capability, including e-signature-based note sign-off, medication orders, as well as note generation

PocketMD has begun to offer its proven mobile EHR to the larger commercial market, including hospital systems comprised of best of breed HIS systems (including those provided by McKesson, Cerner, Siemens, and many others), as well as select proprietary systems, including MEDITECH.

PocketMD is also the only enterprise-wide mobile solution provider to the growing commercial VistA market.
